Job Description

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for temporary adult support workers in the Ripon area.

You would be supporting non-verbal service users with physical disabilities within a small shared residential home, therefore good communication and a good understanding of supporting adults with learning disabilities & physical disabilities is essential.

You will be helping with everyday tasks, ensuring they lead a fulfilling and independent life. It will be a very rewarding, varied role which may also be challenging at times.

Shifts will vary from early to late and also include weekends, so you must have flexibility to commit to these shifts.

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 6 months experience and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - if you don't we can organise this for a small fee of £46.

Due to the nature of the role, It is also advantageous you have manual handling training and relevant experience working within a similar environment.

The rate of pay will be £8.50 - £9.00 per hour, with holiday to accrue.
