Support Worker, Thornbury.

A well established expanding organization is recruiting for a Support Worker for their supported living service . The idyllic complex features five individual homes who support a total of 29 clients who have learning disabilities, Autism, Down syndrome, challenging behaviour and need safe-guarding.
It is a lovely service, based on a complex where all homes are based on the same site in a circle overlooking a courtyard. They also have a farm onsite where they look after animals, grow vegetables, and to the local village they create veg boxes. There is a common room, arts and crafts room (textiles, arts, pottery) where you will help them make presents for family and friends, or even for their own Christmas decorations and market. It really is a fantastic service, with a great sense of community.
You will be supporting them with everyday duties, this could be helping them bake cakes, or preparing nutritional food, personal care, joining in with activates. It is mostly 121 but team will work together and share domestic duties and days out in Thornbury.
