An exciting opportunity for you to become a Mental Health Support Worker- Waking Nights in a leading and well-established mental health organisation has come up. Your role is integral, you will play part in assisting service users live independently in the community as well as assess their emotional needs. You will be supporting Adults who have mental health illness such as, schizophrenia who may display verbal challenging behaviour but at times may have outbursts.
The role will be on a rota basis with extra pay for sleep ins.
Main Job Role
- To carry out hourly checks on all service users
- Assist each service user in developing appropriate social skills. These include washing, dressing, bed making, language skills etc
- To ensure that the physical well-being of all service users is safeguarded by the appropriate use of any services they may require, e.g. doctor
-Completing all the relevant documentation promptly and accurately
