Job Description

SUPPORT WORKERS WANTED
NUNEATON
£17,000 (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
FULL TIME/PART TIME

Fantastic opportunity for experienced support workers to join a well established Learning disability service in the Warwickshire area.

This is a small residential unit that help supports adults with mental health or learning difficulties live as independently as they can.

The service users will all have a learning disability and either a mental illness and/or challenging behaviour; because of the nature of the home, experience within this sector is crucial.

Through a key worker system you will help support service users. Most of the service users are independent so personal care is not part of this role.

You must be an approachable, hard working individual with a passion for care who can personally contribute towards a happy and therapeutic environment.

You must have experience working with mental health and learning disabilities.

Knowledge on CQC standards is important to this company as they always strive for great results.
This is truly a company you can be proud to work for.

You will report to your team leader on a daily basis and support other support workers on your shift.
You will work together to make sure the running of the home is to the best standards. On a daily basis you will support with medication, preparing meals, light house work and looking after care plans and logs.

This role is available for candidates who would like full time or part time work.

If successful you will be rewarded with great holidays, fantastic training and a chance to complete your Level 3 or your QCF level 5 after your probation. This company want the best for their staff and do their best to make sure they can fulfil the needs of the individual so they can progress.

You must also hold a full UK driving license.
