Job Description

Support Workers.

Bury Area.

37.5 hours (Day Shifts).

My client is looking for experienced support workers to work flexibly across services in the Bury Area. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone that has a minimum of 12 months' experience of supporting people in supported living.

The services are for adults with learning disabilities and some mental health and age-related illnesses. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work across 8 services in the Bury and Prestwich area, so being a driver would be an advantage but is not essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an ever-expanding national company who have excellent career progression. You could progress to senior, team leader and beyond! The opportunities are endless!

The ideal candidate will have at least an NVQ Level 2 in health and social care and you must be medication trained. It would also be advantageous if you had buccolam midazolam and epilepsy training but this is not essential as full training will be given!

This is a full time position to work day shifts on a rota basis, examples of shift hours would 07:00-15:00 or 14:00 -22:00 so ideal for support workers not looking to do night shifts and work flexibly around home life.

You will be providing top quality care in some state of the art facilities and you will be at the forefront of supporting people in their living accommodation and promoting independence. You will need to have basic IT skills, be able to report write, work flexibly across the rota and the services.

You will be caring, compassionate and always strive to provide the very best care possible. You will have experience in supported living and ideally in working with people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
