Team Leader
Supported Living Service, Chingford London
Full time Permanent - 40 hours per week
Salary: £21,000 to £25,000 depending on experience

Bs social care are currently working in partnership with our client who is has been going for several years providing high-quality support and care services to vulnerable people in London and has grown from strength-to-strength and have 12 services. They believe in engaging, enabling and empowering the people we support to make positive choices, take advantage of opportunities and live the lives they want.

An exciting employment opportunity has come up in their service based in the Chingford, Who is looking for an extraordinary Team Leader with a commitment to high quality support and focus on personalisation to join the team. To assist the line manager with the operational responsibility for care and support services in at least one local authority and to ensure the services work within the contract specifications.


About the Role
In this role you will work closely with the Service Manager to inspire and motivate the team to provide a high quality service as well assist in implementing current legislation and CQC requirements. Acting as a role model in the delivery of active support, you will promote and maintain person-centred approaches. The role will include organising rotas, staff probation reviews, supervisions, updating support plans, risk assessments, fire and health and safety checks, recording and monitor daily logs, leading shifts and rota cover, recruitment and maintenance reporting.

Strong applicants for this role will have experience or an interest in supporting people through change and have experience of working with Individuals with challenging behaviour and mental health needs. You`ll be passionate about providing quality care and personalised services. An understanding and knowledge of the principles of positive behaviour support, relevant legislation and CQC standards, Need to have experience working in supported Living or similar settings. And will be experienced in supporting people who may display behaviours of concern.


This role require a level of flexibility as per service needs meaning that the post holder may be required to work evenings and weekends.

o Must have minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
o Be prepared to apply to a full CRB / DBS disclosure
o Experience within a supported living setting
o Flexible in working hours
o Driver is desirable not essential
