Support Worker - Housing
Location: Lancaster
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Shift: Full-time and part-time roles available

What you'll be doing:
* Providing compassionate support and guidance to residents, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
* Monitoring and reviewing residents' progress, developing personalised support plans to promote independence
* Assisting residents in accessing move-on accommodation and community resources when ready
* Maintaining accurate records of interactions, progress, and support plans in line with organisational policies
* Ensuring safety and security of the accommodation, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Collaborating with colleagues, external agencies, and stakeholders to deliver holistic support
* Responding effectively to emergencies and providing 24-hour cover as part of a dedicated team
* Promoting a positive, respectful environment that encourages resident engagement and independence

What you'll bring:
* Experience working within supported housing, social care, or related fields is desirable
* Relevant qualifications such as Level 3 Diploma in Housing, Social Care, or equivalent preferred
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse individuals
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and resilience
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, health and safety regulations, and confidentiality
* Competence in record-keeping and report writing using standard IT systems
* Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental attitude towards resident's circumstances
* Ability to respond effectively in emergencies and work flexible hours, including overnight shifts if required
