Team Leader - Children's Residential Care

Are you an experienced Support Worker ready to step into a leadership role?
We're recruiting a Team Leader for a well-established provider of therapeutic residential care in South Shields. This role is based within a 4-bed home supporting established children, and due to continued growth and expansion, the organisation is looking to strengthen its leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality, safe care
- Act as a role model, promoting best practice and consistency
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
- Support care planning, risk assessments, and day-to-day operations
- Work collaboratively with families and external professionals
- Deliver a trauma-informed, person-centred approach
About You
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (essential)
- Experience in children's residential care
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Compassionate, resilient, and proactive
- Committed to safeguarding and positive outcomes
