Job Title - Systems Analyst

Job Type - Permanent

Location - Hull

Salary - Up to £32,000 depending on experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a Technical knowledge of logistics - 3PL Systems and a strong understanding of IT processes.

This family owned logistics supplier is a well-known brand with a fantastic reputation within in the industry that is continuing to grow successfully while keeping their core family values intact.

What you will be responsible for:

The focus of the role is to understand the business IT and operation systems looking for areas that can be improved. You will also have a hand in researching new solutions making recommendations on products and systems that will improve our clients offering.

Working closely with the Head of IT and your direct manager you will be required to work with system users both internal and external to find area of improvement and development.

Duties -
" Analyse current operational processes, map them, evaluate and offer solutions on improvements, considering risk and benefit
" Document your findings.
" Demonstrate new processes in a clear and understandable way to non-technical employees.
" Translate technical documentation for non-technical employees.
" Provide support for creation of dashboards to facilitate internal or external data access and insights.
" Complete testing / assist with internal training of new systems / processes.


What experience is needed:

" Experience within a similar role
" A strong understanding of IT Systems processes along with experience using Data Insight Products
" Technical Knowledge of 3PL System Cargowise or a very similar product
" Attention to detail and problem solving
" Ability to present findings and be confident in your results within group meetings or at board level.
