Job Description

Are you CTA qualified and looking for a truly exciting opportunity to joining a rapidly growing firm? My client is offering an opportunity that sits very uniquely in the market.


The Tax Manager is a newly formed and exciting role within my client's team that is responsible for undertaking tax management work relating to various tax relief products including patent box, land remediation and capital allowances providing a best-in-class service to both existing and new clients. The role will work closely across a number of teams in the delivery of these products and will be responsible for the computation of tax benefits, submission of tax returns electronically and providing tax advice to the consultant teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and growth-minded individual who is looking to be part of an expanding team and add value substantial value to both clients and the business.

Role expectations

  • Deliver value for clients across tax relief products
  • Highly competent in Excel and tax return submission software i.e. taxfiler
  • Capability for high volume work whilst maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with deadline pressures
  • Effective time management is essential
  • Provide exceptional client management skills so as to extend the network of the company
  • Work autonomously and independently


Requirements

  • Qualified to ATT/CTA level
  • Experience in preparation of corporation tax returns
  • Experience in interpreting legislative updates and disseminating to wider teams
  • Relevant experience in tax relief products i.e. R&D, Capital allowance, patent box etc.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work autonomously with high productivity and accuracy
  • Excellent teamwork skills with desire to coach junior teammates
  • Ambitious attitude with enthusiasm for maximising client value
