Job Description

Temporary positions available at a Further Education College for young adults with a range of needs including learning and physical disabilities, autism, social and emotional issues and challenging behaviours.

You will be responsible for supporting learners to access learning and achieve their potential, whilst promoting their independence. You may be responsible for personal care and physical intervention as per individual learners needs.


The successful candidate will have 12 months experience in a similar role, an engaging personality and the ability to support young adults to reach their educational goals.

Experience in supporting clients with moving and handling and personal care is essential, and the confidence and ability to manage challenging behaviours. Team Teach or similar training is beneficial.
