My public sector client based in Lichfield is looking for an Administrative Assistant, to support their department. This is a temporary on-going assignment Monday to Friday paying £13.70p/hr, full time 37.00 hours a week
You will be the first point of contact, managing the phones, emails and post and assisting the team with administrative duties. Administrative duties include processing documents, filing, scanning and managing the physical post and proof-reading data. You will be responsible for monitoring management actions and supporting requests as necessary. You will need to provide support for meetings/forums to cover their co-ordination, note taking, following up on actions and collating supporting documents where necessary.
You must have strong IT skills such as Microsoft Office (Excel and Word particularly) and have the ability to pick up systems and technology quickly. You must be able to use SharePoint to maintain the department filing system.
The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months strong administration experience and a willingness to train and learn new systems and skills. You will have an attention to detail and ability to work in a structured environment. You will be articulate, an excellent communicator and effective team player!
