Job Description

I am actively seeking a TEAM LEADER to join a busy domiciliary care service in the Solihull area.

This is an exciting opportunity that offers scope and potential to work for an established, quality focused provider who delivers high quality care to people with a range of needs in their own homes, as well as live in care.

The service is currently rated "Good" with CQC.

This unique opportunity will require you to split your time between office support and being in the field. You will be required to deliver care and support across the home and live in care packages provided by your new organisation. This will include personal care, medication management, respite support and dementia care.

In addition, you will spend time in the office, working closely with an established manager and coordinator, overseeing rotas, staff allocation, quality, compliance and recruitment.

You must be prepared to be involved in supervisions, auditing, service visits and liaising with external agencies and the families of the people you support, in both a community and office capacity.

This is the perfect opportunity for a skilled care professional who is seeking the first step a supervisory role and is passionate about stepping into a care coordinator role in the near future.

I am looking for applications from candidates who can demonstrate experience in the social care field at senior or team leader level. Ideally you will have experience of live-in and/or community care.

The level 3 in health and social care or equivalent is essential to be considered for this team leader opportunity, as is a full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and the commitment to deliver care in the community as part of your role and take on a share of the on call responsibilities.

This rewarding opportunity is offering a competitive salary and development opportunities. You will also benefit from a generous annual leave allowance, continued training and development and other appealing benefits.
