Job Description

We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join a well established Learning Disability Supported Living Service.

This company helps support over 1,000 people across the UK and Scotland with LD live their lives as independently as possible.

In this rewarding role your main duties will be to lead a team of support workers within a service on a day to day basis. You will make sure all of your team are fully trained and doing there role correctly.

For this you must have excellent communication skills and be able to form good working relationships.

Within the service will be a mixture of people all with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will assist with medication and some personal care.

As a team leader you will also liaise with nurses, visitors and families that come on site.

You will undertake needs assessments and risk assessments, developing with each person an outcome based support plan, and person centred plan which are reviewed and updated regularly according to schedule.

You will also assist with producing, maintaining and managing of the staff roster. Ensuring the
rota and staffing levels meet the needs of the people we support and are within the authorised limits of resource.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ within health and social care and also have some previous supervisory experience in the past.

This is a full time role (37.5 hours) and has a starting salary of £19,499.
