Job Description

Do you have autism experience? Are you up for a new challenge? Do you have a level 4 qualification in health & social care or willing to work towards one? Do you hold a UK`s drivers license? If yes, then I have the perfect role for you.

My client is seeking a team Leader in their Supported Living Service in the Croydon area. The successful candidate will be working with autistic adults and their families in a support environment.

My client provides a fantastic introduction programme and continuous learning and development opportunities to help the successful candidate become autism experts which will lead to additional qualifications.

The service users want to be supported to do the things they want to do and to live the lives they choose. This role provides highly skilled support to help achieve this. This role will support the mentoring, development and managing of developing team members and assists with the smooth running and management of the service.

The ideal candidate will support 4 male service users who are daring and adventurous with a range of needs. Challenging behaviour experience is also essential for this position as each day may present a new challenge.

The ideal person will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
-Level 4 in health and social care (or willing to work towards it)
-BTEC PBS Diploma
-Autism/Challenging behaviour experience.
-Experience at Senior Support Worker level of working with people with disabilities, including autism.
-Driving license (Essential)
-Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative framework/ regulatory requirements
