Job Description

I have a number of exciting opportunities for Team Leaders to join a lovely and supportive child`s organsation that provide essential and valuable care to children and young people aged 7 to 18 years who have complex and behaviour needs.

They have vacancies at the following services in Smethwick, Stechford, Bidford upon Avon and Dudley. You can choose which service you would love to be part of!

Working closely with the registered and deputy manager, and effectively leading a team of care and support staff, you will deliver care and support in line with both OFSTED and company guidelines. You will provide a nurturing and therapeutic environment which fosters emotional, social and physical wellbeing and development.

Within your role as a Team Leader, you will lead shifts and offer direct support to the staff team. Staff supervisions, report writing, care and support planning and behaviour management are all a key part of the senior support worker role.

For your support and commitment, your salary will be between £21,922 to £24,619 including your complex care and sleep in allowance and depending on your experience. You will also get a holiday allowance and pension plan, as well as career development and the opportunity to complete your NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management.

To be successful within this role you must have at least 12 months experience in children`s services and hold your QCF level 3 in children`s residential or have an equivalent. Be a driver with your own car.
