Job Description

I have several exciting opportunities for Team Leaders to join a recognised provider of care, support, and education for young people, with complex needs and behaviours.

I have opportunities available in the ST2, ST3 and ST4 areas of Stoke on Trent.

You will become a pivotal part of an established, care focused organisation who is committed to making a difference to the lives of the young people they support. A forward-thinking organisation, this is reflected in their work practices, training, and professional development.

Working closely with the registered and deputy manager, and effectively leading a team of care and support staff, you will deliver care and support in line with both OFSTED and company guidelines. You will provide a nurturing and therapeutic environment which fosters emotional, social, and physical well being and development.

Within your role as a Team Leader, you will lead shifts and offer direct support to the staff team. Staff supervisions, report writing, care and support planning and behaviour management are all a key part of the senior support worker role.

Your extensive knowledge, skills and experience will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary and sleep in allowance, as well as a generous annual leave allowance and continued training and development. Genuine career progression opportunities are also available within this market leading organisation.

For your support and commitment, your salary will be between £21,922 to £24,619 including your complex care and sleep in allowance and depending on your experience. You will also get a holiday allowance and pension plan, as well as career development and the opportunity to complete your NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management.

To be successful within this role you must have at least 12 months experience in children`s services and hold your QCF level 3 in children`s residential or have an equivalent. Be a driver with your own car.
