Job Description


Are you someone who knows how to motivate and lead a team well?
Our Client is currently looking for a Team Leader to support a busy property claims team within Elland. You`ll play a key part in managing a team dedicated to the management of property claims for numerous clients.
This role is diverse and will place you at the heart of our customer journey, So, you`ll need to come to us with a strong Property Claims background, and the appetite to lead a team in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment. The working hours will be 08:30am to 17:0pm 0 or 09:00am-17:30pm Monday to Friday. Total hours 37.5 hours per week.

Duties and responsibilities:
" Ownership and oversight of the claims handling team, including management of team workload
" Development of claims handlers to achieve client SLAs via support and coaching
" Ensure a high level of staff engagement
" Attend Client Review Meetings where appropriate
" Conducting regular performance and audit reviews, include annual PDR`s
" Managing claims handler absences
" Continuous improvement focusing on leading excellent customer service and technical delivery of claims
" Complaint escalation point
" Ensure Key Performance Indicator targets are reached and maintained.
" Oversight of payment audit approval process to defined limits
" Involvement in recruitment and interview processes for claims handler/administrator roles

Skills & Experience:
" A genuine passion for people management
" The confidence and gravitas to act as an efficient escalation point: Claim and team related queries / Complaints
" Experience of Customer Service and Claims Management in an insurance background.
" Flexibility and adaptability.
" The ability to organise own workload.
