The Ministry of Justice - Executive Officer
Location: Harrogate Justice Centre
Salary: 10.97ph
Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours)

This is an ongoing temporary position until at least March 2022 with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements. All training will be provided for the role.

Training will be provisionally based at York for the first couple of weeks then you will move over to the Harrogate site

Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a full time Executive Officer to join the Team at the Harrogate Justice Centre with our client, The Ministry of Justice based in Harrogate. The role will include working as part of a flexible team. You will be trained to effectively lead the team.

Responsibilities include:
" Be responsible for management of staff on site

"Effectively deal with and resolve difficult situations

" Overseeing the Staff workload and ensure it is completed properly and allocated appropriately

" Help staff with any queries/problems

" Motivate and lead the team

" Assist and support management

" Manage civil and family work and hearings and magistrates' hearings

" Frequently be senior person on site

What we are looking for:

" Previous or recent team leader/management experience
" Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
" Strong customer service skills essential and recent administration
" Ability to work on your own initiative and unsupervised
" Ability to work under pressure
" Ability to multitask
" Excellent sickness record

" Quick learner

" Ability to motivate a small team

Interviews will be held on week commencing 26th July for successful candidates

Also there is parking on site at the Harrogate Justice Centre
