Job Description

Salary: £33,990 per annum + benefits package
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to lead a team of Support Workers providing housing-related support to young people aged 16 to 25 living in semi-independent accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Life Skills Mentoring: Guide young people in budgeting, cooking, accessing health services, benefit claims, and more to promote independent living.
- Supervision: Support and supervise support workers, ensuring high standards in line with company policies.
- Compliance: Work with the management team to ensure contract compliance and forward planning.
- Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of all young people.
- Staff Morale: Enhance staff morale and service performance through consistent support and new system implementations.
- Health & Safety: Conduct regular property inspections and health and safety checks.

Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, specifically working with young people over 16.
- Skills: Excellent communication, time management, conflict resolution, and ability to work under pressure.
- Qualifications: QCF/NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent, enhanced DBS check, full driving license with access to a car.
