My client is a well established Fin-Tech company based on the outskirts of Greater London/Surrey area.

Due to growth they are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst - Trade Finance to join this expanding team - UK remote based with occasional office if required.

Following a major strategic review which has resulted in an exciting new opening for a permanent Technical Business Analyst located in Greater London.

Do you have knowledge of Trade finance products as below-
a. Letters of Credit
b. Banks Guarantees and Standby LCs
c. Documentary collections
d. Open Account
2. Do you have understanding or experience of working on Supply Chain Finance products like Payable Finance, Receivable Finance, Reverse Factoring etc.
3. Do you have understanding of SWIFT MT messages used in Trade Finance ( e.g. MT700, MT760 etc.)
4. Do you have experience of using/developing Trade finance client portal or back office applications ?
5. Are you open learn and work on technical tools and technologies mentioned in the job specifications?

• Knowledge and experience of using/creating:
  • XML/XPATH/XSLT (E)
  • Basic knowledge of writing basic database SQL queries(D)
  • XSDs, DTDs (E)
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies such as Kanban/Agile (E) and tools such as Jira and Confluence (E)
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal. Ability to articulate requirements and issues clearly and concisely with both on-shore and off-shore Development Teams (E)
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen effectively and the ability to present oneself in a calm, professional manner whilst under time and schedule pressure (E)
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills (E)
• Team player. Comfortable working in a small company environment and "hands-on" in the sense of doing what needs to be done in a small organisation (E)
• Fluent English (E), any other languages
  • Trade and/or Trade Finance (E);
