Job Description

Job Title: Technical Co-ordinator

Salary: Circa £20K pa

Hours: 38.5 hours per week

Shifts: Varying shift patterns from Monday to Friday ranging from 8:30am to 6:00pm on a rota basis

Holiday: 20 days holiday, rising to 25 after 3 years' service, plus up to 3 additional days per year awarded quarterly for 100% attendance

Location: Longridge, Preston.

Responsibilities:

-Providing technical support and product advice over the phone and via email to both customers and our sales team

-Developing a healthy business to business working relationship with an existing customer base

-Processing orders and quotations for bespoke products via our in-house system

-Translating customer diagrams onto a basic CAD program

-Resolving customer queries using our in house help desk and CRM systems

-Liaising with manufacturers/suppliers

-Running daily, weekly and monthly reports

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

-Friendly and confident manner

-Computer literate

-Technically minded with a logical/practical way of thinking

-A desire to learn every detail of complex products, including products that are motorised and electronically controlled

-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

-Desire for excellent customer service with a "can do" attitude

-Confident with figures and calculations

-Flexible approach
