Job Description

We are a growing company based in Sutton surrey and currently looking to expand our Technical & Production side of the Engineering Office with a new Technical Customer Service person.
An award winning British manufacturer, for over 25 years we have been a leading company for British design, innovation and engineering. We specialise in both open and glass fronted fires helping turn our happy customer's houses into a home.
Being a part of our Engineering Office team is a varied role covering aspects of Design, Managing Factory Production, Admin and essentially great Customer Service.
Your new role will be dealing direct with independent shops within the trade and dealing with the technical aspect of Made to Measure gas fires. There is an element of design as you will be using your technical ability to build solutions on bespoke CAD software linked with cutting edge laser machines. You will support in managing factory production and liaising with suppliers. With our very own on site factory you get to see your finished product in all its glory before it's shipped out.
You will be looking after inbound calls and enquires and eventually take on the complete roll from initial conversation to completing the final design for the inner workings in the finished fire. We offer full training on the job so this is a great position for somebody looking for a new direction to their career.

We want you to be flexible to your working approach, we need somebody who has good IT skills and can adapt to our system for logging details and following jobs up. You will need to be happy to learn new skills and fit in with our current team, to ensure the smooth flow of factory production.
Ideally we want somebody with a practical background and somebody who possesses the ability to think technically.
You must be able to speak with customers and have a great telephone manner being polite and able to communicate effectively with the trade and customers as well as with various in-house office and factory departments.

For this role we require somebody who is organised, works in a tidy fashion and has the ability to think ahead.
It is essential that you have the ability to work on practical and technical projects and the capacity to learn new software.
You will need to be customer focused with meeting the customer needs as the end result.
We will require you to work as a team player yet able to use your initiative to complete individual tasks.
