This "award winning" Rochdale based client is part of a Multinational Company Group, manufacturing niche applications to a global market. A market leader and a specialist manufacturer in many areas of heavy industrial weaving, we manufacture durable and precise textile constructions required to fulfil complex operating requirements.

Due to recent expansion, they have an exciting opportunity for a technically minded and engaging individual to join the sales team, which will involve extensive global travel, delivering excellent customer service to customers, agents and distributors.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years technical textile understanding of the weaving industry, with proven sales and account management experience. Candidates should have the ability to interpret and communicate technical requirements with the ability of strengthening customer and stakeholder relationships to generate revenue and maximise opportunities. This will be achieved through delivering excellent customer service to customers, agents and distributors, along with providing technical information, creating new business, developing existing accounts and market research. A key element of the role will be an involvement with new product development.

The role will involve extensive global travel (8-10 weeks per year) and as part of the brand development you will also be responsible for organising exhibitions and attending conferences.

Key skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels. A self-reliant individual who can operate effectively with minimal supervision and is comfortable with international travel and related business practices. Additional language skills may also be advantageous.
