Job Description

Our Skipton based client is currently looking for a technical sales engineer to join their company on a permanent basis.

We're looking for a candidate with strong technical skills from a mechanical engineering background.

The role will include preparing technical quotes for a range of solutions and communicating with a wide range of clients from differing industries.

Building and maintaining relationships with these clients, with occasional trade and site visits with some international travel required.

Reviewing orders will also form a large part of the role, ensuring all technical aspects are commercially viable and aligned to customer requirements.

Communicating project technical changes and requirements with manufacturing

Candidates will need a background within project engineering from the oil & gas, hydraulic, pump or similar industry. Ideally with degree level experience within mechanical engineering.

Our client offer a salary in the region of £26,000 - £32,000. This can be negotiable for the right experience.
There is also free onsite parking.
