Job Description

Want to be part of a small but expanding family run business in Rutland that supplies specialist consumables and bespoke surface finishing solutions to a range of OEM, distributor and end-user markets. My client is looking for a high-motivated Technical Sales Manager to further increase sales growth and provide exceptional customer support across the UK.

Package
£30,000-£40,000 plus commission - Monday to Friday 8:30-5 Mon- Thursday 8:30-4:30 Friday

The Role
You will be required to provide end user support, conduct product trials, organise training and demos of products as well generating new business leads and maintaining existing clients spend portfolios. This role is field based and goes across the UK, so a full clean driving licence is essential, with regular visits at Rutland HQ for sales meetings and reviews
Duties
" Maintaining and growing existing business relationships
" Identifying and developing new accounts
" Promoting a diverse, high quality portfolio of products
" Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education and after-sales support service
" Organising training and technical solutions
" Meeting and exceeding sales budgets
" Reporting directly to the general manager
" Attending trade exhibitions
" Managing all activities in compliance with 'Safe Products' objectives and policies
" Providing market feedback to on competitor activity and current and future customer requirements

Person Specification
" Sound technical knowledge
" Microsoft office competent
" Excellent verbal and written communication
" Energetic, dynamic and driven to achieve success
" Self-motivation
" Diary management
" Previous sales experience is a must and to be able to provide examples where you have won over new business and met/exceeded targets
" Keen interest in the automotive/rail and marine industry
" Excellent organisation and time management skills
" Good business acumen
" Enthusiasm and ability to establish business contacts at all levels
" A flexible and motivated individual with a strong customer focus which ensures the companies brand values are portrayed and upheld.
