The role of Technical Support Advisor is the go-to person between customers and colleagues. You will be required to deal with customer issues raised
over the phone, email and internal ticket system, escalating tickets to support supervisors,management and/or network team where required. You will be a confident and articulate communicator and happy to explain the scientific technicalities to people on all levels. Full product training is given.
To be considered for this role you will need good working knowledge of full MS office Suite, Linux, Various VPS Platforms, including KVM, Open VZ, Hyper V & Network Infrastructure. Your normal hours of work will be based on four days shift from 7.00am to 7.00pm, each four day shift being followed by four days off, and then four nights shifts 7.00pm to 7.00am, each night shift followed by four nights off. Shifts include weekends and bank holiday and will rotated throughout the year.
