Brook Street are looking for Telephone Researchers to work with Leicestershire Police on a temporary, ongoing basis.

As a force, Leicestershire Police are always looking at ways they can continuously improve, not just to prevent crime from happening in the first place but also to provide a service and a workforce that is fit for the future, dynamic and efficient; this role plays a key part in that, helping them to gather feedback from victims of crime to make ongoing improvements.

Working as part of a team, successful applicants will be guiding victims of crime through a survey script, gathering information about the service they received. Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude at all times, they will need to probe for answers to ensure clarity and to obtain and record the right information accurately.

We are looking for excellent communicators and individuals that can embody the force's core values. They must be able to build a rapport easily over the phone and demonstrate both patience and empathy, alongside emotional resilience as they gather feedback from participants. Experience of working with members of the public would be advantageous and strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel, is a must for this role. Ongoing support will be provided from a great team.

Assignments of 12 hours per week are available; flexibility can be offered regarding the number of days worked around an individual's availability. All hours must be worked Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 9pm.

Candidates are required to be over the age of 18 and complete a vetting process, including providing three years' worth of references, prior to commencing the role. Please note that the vetting process takes approximately 4-6 weeks.

Location: Enderby, Leicester
Salary: Up to £9.59 per hour
