Telephone Sales Executive

Full time, permanent role - looking for a quick start

The Role

You will be acting as a point of contact between a large, busy and growing business as well as a new and existing customer base; Your role will be responsible for obtaining new business and managing a current customer portfolio. You will have specific targets/ KPI'S to meet that are in line with company strategies, you must have a confident telephone and not be afraid to pick up the phone.

This role will have a mix of warm and cold calls.

Person Specification

Telesales background
Proven track record on the ability to meet and exceed targets
Hand on experience with sales tools
Dealt with CRM software
Team player
Good time-management skills
First class interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and negotiate with a wide range of people.
Computer literate, including good knowledge of excel reports
Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
High level of attention to detail
Respect for customer and business confidentiality
Ability to work under pressure
Good problem-solving skills

Key role requirements

Reach out to existing and potential customers to present a product and service offering
Address any questions or issues customers may have
Develop and maintain a new business sales plan targeting all routes to exceed budgeted new business targets.
Create a plan alongside your manager and provide regular updates on the plan and any changes
Manage and maintain an existing customer and new business pipeline report and Provide regular updates and maintain a good understanding of customer needs and requirements
Ensure you have full knowledge of all company services and products and understanding the sales propositions for each
Exceed key account customer and new business targets as set by annually by the business
Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and need offer solutions based on clients' needs and capabilities
Deliver the sales process in a professional manner and close new opportunities (across existing and new accounts) in line with projections.
Work closely with other members of the Sales Team to ensure a high level of service is achieved
Provide monthly reports updating activities, pipelines and meetings to management
