Brook Street are thrilled to be supporting a growing firm on their hunt for a Telephone Support role within Conveyancing, with the future opportunity to progress into the firm's busy Trainee Academy for aspiring conveyancers, subject to relevant experience / proven ability.

You will be responsible for responding to all client / interested authorised party requests for information on residential conveyancing files which the Firm are undertaking on behalf of clients. You will also be responsible for undertaking all associated tasks in the Residential Conveyancing unit as required by the senior management team.

Due to the nature of the role, knowledge of residential property and the conveyancing process is essential. Candidates should therefore have a background in either conveyancing, estate agency or mortgage.

Key areas to include, accurately recording client instructions; responding to basic enquiries as per the basic response guidance manual; recording notes of each call and, where necessary, transferring the call to the responsible fee earner acting as a first point of call for contact with the Firm's fee earners; liaising with fee earners, managers and representatives of the Firm as to any problematic matters; undertaking basic administrative duties e.g. updating spreadsheets, databases and carrying out ad hoc duties as directed by the line managers.
