Job Description

Job title: Tender Writer

Contract type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: Mon-Fri - 09:00-17:00 (35 hours per week)

Salary: £18,000 - £23,000 (DOE)

Location: Hull City Centre

We are looking for a Tender Writer to join one of our successful clients in their Public Sector - Procurement Department.

The successful candidate must have excellent command of English, especially in writing/researching/communication and mathematical skills as well as have exceptional attention to detail.

This will be a great opportunity for you to learn and develop new skills that will sharpen your succession within a rapidly growing organisation and team.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire PQQs and ITT documentation
  • Design, write, edit and check tenders to ensure all necessary information is included
  • Cooperate with other departments and members the business to collate all required information and documentation necessary to finalise bids/tenders
  • Undertake research and analysis activities in order to ensure all tender information currently utilised by the business is up to date and accurate
  • Develop libraries of tender documents
  • Arrange and lead SMT meetings to finalise necessary documentation to prepare bids/tenders for submission
  • Submit bids/tenders in an accurate and timely manner
  • Follow up enquiries/attend presentation meetings/communicate with all levels of commissioning authorities after submission of bids/tenders.

Essential:

  • Excellent command of English, especially in writing/researching/communication and mathematical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, even under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Target driven work ethics resulting in highly rewarded remuneration and job satisfaction
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise your own workload
  • Degree level education and sound knowledge of MS Office software.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Public Sector Tender processes from beginning to end.
