Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity working as an Executive Office in a well established public sector organisation. Do you have a background in end to end testing in an IT environment? If this sounds like you, please read on to find our more.
As a Test Support Officer, your duties will include:
-Supporting the Test Manager with various tasks
-Manging test activities and contributing to the test strategy and approach
-Adhering to testing governance
-Creating, maintaining and enhancing detailed test scenarios, test cases and test scripts to ensure they are fit for purpose and in line with the agreed testing approach
-Ensuring effective contribution to project timelines ensuring test requirements are met and delivered on time
-Escalating issues impacting testing where appropriate
-Manage and produce dashboards/reports reflecting the results of end to end testing and text exercises
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
-Experience of undertaking end to end testing in technology/IT function/agile environment (e.g. UAT/model office/BCP/DR/end to end testing)
-Relevant qualifications relating to the key activities
-Experiencing of delivery testing in public sector, particularly central government departments
The role is to start as soon as possible until initially the end of January, with opportunity to be extended beyond this point.
