Job Description

Brook Street have a fantastic opportunity to work with one of our large Public Sector clients in Newport (Wales)

TEMPORARY POSITION UNTIL MARCH 2025.

Hybrid working - 1 day in the office in Newport. (flexibility required)

Pay Rate - £13.09 per hour

Hours - 37 hours per week

Trademark and Design Admin duties
Dealing with post coming into TMD Admin, sorting into relevant working trays
(Designs and Trade Marks)
Scanning documents via Kofax, ensuring all relevant dates and application numbers are correct.
Capturing TM and Design paper applications ensuring all information is captured correctly.
Answer queries (letter, e-mail and telephone) from internal and external customers.
Carry out preliminary examination of each formality in line with agreed quality criteria. Communicate any objections, clearly explaining the reasoning behind a decision.
Maintain and update the desk notes for processing TM and Design documents.
Uploading emails and attachments to TM10 correctly.
Uploading Design emails to DEPS.
Uploading images to DEPS (including imbedded ones).
To positively support the IPO's work on Continuous Improvement using LEAN methodology. Understanding "what a benefit is" and seeking help to capture on the portal. Understand that CI is a continuous loop of improving work.
To support delivering excellent IP services through hybrid working, attending site as required, working remotely, engaging with my team and the wider IPO through Teams calls and video meetings, in line with the behaviours set out in The Deal.
To engage with the IPO's Transformation programme, by attending meetings as appropriate, engaging in activities, where appropriate feeding back to the team and supporting the project.

Other Information:

This role will be carried out in-line with IPO Hybrid working arrangements where staff are currently expected to attend the office 1 day per week, or equivalent if part-time, on-site at the clients Newport office

You may be required to attend site for additional workshops, training, and collaboration purposes.
