Job Description

Wonderful opportunity to work with a FinTec company as Business Analyst.
Looking for a Trade and Supply Chain Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years in Trade Finance (Current)

Knowledge of Scrum/Agile processes
Creating, detailing, and refining work requirement stories in a ticketing system such as (Jira or other for instance). The BA is responsible for capturing all the requirements and detail in these tickets.
Documenting requirements applying diagrams, tables and other visual information such as wireframes where required
Mapping data and understanding data schemas from various data sources such as XML, EDI, database schemas etc
Working closely with product managers, product owners, developers, testers, Team leaders/scrum masters, and other team members involved in the development process

The candidate has 5+ years of experience in the last 10 years of working in a software vendor selling into the Trade Finance area (Banks and/or corporate), or in house software used by a bank or corporate.
Understanding of back office versus front office systems
Trade product knowledge and understand Trade Finance ecosystem
Experience of trade instruments used by Corporate exporters/importers, and banks:
a. Open account presentation
b. Presentation under LC
c. Bank Guarantees
d. Documentary collections
4. Experience of trade documents used by Carriers, Corporate exporters/importers, and experience of digitisation pre-checking of these document & document exchanges:
a. Bills of lading
b. Shipping Instructions
c. Certificates of Origin
d. Customs declarations
e. Cargo manifestos
