Job Description

I am looking for an experienced Trade Counter Assistant for an immediate start based in Farnborough.

Your primary role will be assisting with face to face trade counter sales. You will learn processes & procedures in Trade Counter Sales & operational goods-in processing to enable you to keep the stock levels correct & in the right locations.

Duties to include:

• Assisting & serving customers who collect goods via the Trade Counter
• Merchandising, restocking & tidying stock
• Order picking
• Daily stock checks
• Checking off and booking in suppliers orders
• Cashing up till at end of each day
• Ability to work from both locations (Currently Reading & Farnborough)
• Delivery driving (3.5T) may occasionally be required
• Answering the telephone as a back up
• Entering orders

Required skillsets:

• Self-starter - Achieve tasks on your own initiative
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload
• Communication skills
• IT competency
• Current driving license
• Always prepared to work as an enthusiastic team member
• Commit to completing task to a high standard, on time
• Adherence to all Company systems and working practices with a commitment to improve productivity and promote best practice
• Compliance with Company procedures regarding Health & Safety, security & confidentiality
