BROOK STREET are thrilled to support our Washington based client in their search for a technically minded Trade Counter Sales Assistant.
Working as part of a close-knit, busy team, you will undertake the following activities:
- Handling orders and enquiries via telephone and email
- Raising quotations specific to customer needs
- Sales order processing, retrieving parts
- Managing and developing existing customer accounts
- Establishing new accounts
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of sales and/or customer service in an engineering or industrial environment; it is important to our clients that you will be familiar with aspects of their extensive product range!
If you have experience from a manufacturing or engineering background I would be very interested in hearing from you.
As this role involves heavy use of software systems, you will be confident in the daily use of Microsoft excel, prior knowledge of Sage 50 software will also be beneficial.
This is a full time, permanent position working Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm, with your basic salary being negotiable between £16000 - £17000!
