Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client who are based in Mallusk are recruiting a Full Time Trailer Fitter.

They are one of Ireland`s largest Commercial Rental Companies running a modern fleet of both Trucks and Trailers.

The candidate for this role should be an experienced HGV Trailer Fitter with a good knowledge of various types of trailers. Working in a growing business within a larger team of skilled fitters, the successful candidate will benefit from a generous starting salary and other staff benefits.

Typical Duties of a Trailer Fitter include, but are not limited to:

* Performing general servicing and inspections on a variety of trailers
* Preparing trailers for PSV Testing
* Carrying Out Brake Testing on all Trailers
* Ensuring all repairs are carried out according to the garage procedures
* Adhering to all Company Health & Safety criteria
* Liaising with the team on work progress and any problems or delays that may occur
* Ensuring relevant paperwork is completed

Attributes we are looking for:

* Proven Mechanical/ Technical Experience in trailer repair and maintenance
* Strong Knowledge of HGV trailers
* Professional approach to work
* Consistent high standard of work
* Full Clean driving Licence

Starting Salary will be dependant on qualifications and relevant experience.
Opportunity to earn circa £31K- £36K
