Hours: Full time (Permanent)

Salary: £22,000 - £23,000

An excellent opportunity for a driven Trainee Accountant with 2-3+ years` experience has arisen within a small but well-established Accountancy firm in South Lanarkshire.

My client is an accountancy firm that has prided itself in providing great customer service and business accountancy for over 30 years. The firm covers a handful of sectors including:

" Agriculture
" The professions
" The service sectors
" The construction industry
" Manufacturers
" Retailers

Duties:
" Liaising with and assisting clients with any enquiries
" Bookkeeping and management
" Auditing
" Preparing and submitting Vat Returns
" Preparation of annual accounts
" Preparing tax returns

Requirements:
" Self-motivated Trainee Accountant who is confident in preparing client year end journals, working papers, company accounts and company tax returns.
" Experience in using IRIS, XERO or SAGE accounting software is highly desirable.
" Experience in Auditing
" Experience within an accountancy practice.
" Previously been involved in the management of a portfolio of clients.
" Part-qualified (AAT) or equivalent commercial experience.
" Good communication skills and client management.
