Trainee Credit Controller

A well established business, which has seen unprecedented growth, are recruiting a Trainee Credit Controller to join their team.

I am looking for someone with 1 - 3 years accounts assistant experience with customer service background to join the team. Full training will be provided and paid for.

Job Description

As a Trainee Credit Controller, you will report into the Credit Manager, responsible for the effective collection of all debts and customer payments.

Once trained, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: maintaining client data; distributing invoices; raising and sending credit notes; responding to and resolving queries; collection of deb by email/telephone; liaising with external clients; updating spreadsheets.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:
Have knowledge of working in an account role including purchase ledger - Essential
Have excellent customer service skills - Essential
Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Office
Must be a strong tenacious, driven and confident character as you will have to chase money!
Have a willingness to learn with a flexible attitude and professional approach

What's on Offer

£15,000 -£18,000 base salary - depending on experience.
