Brook Street Recruitment are working on behalf of our Belfast client who are a Global Insurance Services Provider to recruit a Trainee Insurance Account Handler

Initially you will join as an Administrator but you will be trained as an Insurance Account Handler- as your skills grow you can expect to participate in more complex insurance matters within the corporate and commercial departments and progress to an Account Manager role with industry recognise qualifications, your own clients and a growing salary to match.

Duties

Provision of account support services for clients.
To aid in the overall service provision to clients ensuring that the business is retained and developed. Maintenance of records, preparation of forms/documents, verification of information and resolution of routine problems.
Provision of administrative support in accordance with agreed company procedures
Obtain claims information from Insurers.
Collect data/statistics for inclusion in market presentations.
Preparation and issuance of invoices.
Create and update relevant systems.
Involvement with the solving of accounts queries.
Provide support in the overall servicing of the client`s insurance programme


Criteria

Educated to at least A level standard
A desire to learn and progress within the insurance industry.
The ability to work in support of other team colleagues.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met.
Willingness to develop knowledge through formal and informal training.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft products or similar software applications.

This is a full time, permanent role, the starting salary will be £20K and this will increase as you grow your skills with the company
