Due to continued expansion and plans to increase their workforce capabilities, my client is looking for bright, enthusiastic, motivated and committed candidates to join their team. This role might suit graduates and school leavers who are looking for an exciting career opportunity within the rapidly evolving world of Geomatics. This role is a 12-week temporary to permanent position. The working hours would be 40 hours Monday to Friday (or 42.5 hours if aged 18 and above). The salary per annum is between £17,000 to £20,000 dependant on experience. The company will give training and allow you to study for various courses which will give you more experience.

You should be prepared to work outside, to work flexible hours and to travel around the country as part of a small team. You must be able to cope with some physical work as you will be required to work on various types of sites and to carry equipment. Having a driving licence would be advantageous but not essential, however you would be encouraged to learn to drive in order to progress.

Initially you will be assisting experienced surveyors working on a variety of projects, being responsible for data collection using the latest survey technology available. You would be given time in each department (topographical, measured building, underground utility and GIS) to gain experience within all aspects of surveying before focusing on a particular application area prior to promotion to Junior Surveyor.
