BS Social Care are looking for a Training Coordinator to supporting the development and delivery of training for employees who are working with to work with women and children who are victims of domestic violence and abuse.

About the employer; this employer is a Charity based in Northampton that offer free services to women and their children to support them through domestic violence and lead the lives they want to live. Alongside working with men who use coercive and controlling behaviours, enabling them to change their values, beliefs and attitudes to prevent further domestic abuse from happening. They offer a refuge to women and children to ensure they are in a safe, supporting environment to those who need it most.

About the job; you will be accountable for supporting the development and delivery of core training packages and bespoke training programmes for staff and volunteers and external clients. You work with the CEO and other Managers to develop, deliver and regularly update the Core Training Programme that meets identified needs of staff and volunteers for the effective delivery of services to all our clients and regularly update core and bespoke training programme for external clients. Help to identify and train suitable staff to deliver internal and external Core Training Programmes. Assist in the identification of suitable online modules for staff learning. Assist in the development of online modules to support internal and external training programmes. Assist in regularly updating materials for group work facilitator training. Support collection and reporting of management information data, including achievement against outcomes, writing reports. You will also keep and maintain records both electronic and paper based as appropriate and provide written reports where required. Attend and contribute regularly to team development days, staff meetings, supervision and other team events. You will also have the opportunity to undertake further training opportunities as appropriate.

About the ideal candidate; you will need to have experience working with vulnerable adults who are victims of domestic abuse and have experience working with the effects this also has on children alongside have good knowledge and training or a qualification in domestic abuse and ideally hold a Training for Trainers qualification. You will also have a good understanding of safeguarding issues and the legal responsibilities surrounding these. It is essential that you have groupwork/training facilitation experience. This organisation is looking for candidates that have excellent communication, written and presentation skills, be compassionate, enthusiastic and respectful. You will also need to be a driver with access to a car.

In return, this organisation will offer a permeant full time contract working 37 hours per week paying £19,817 - £23,000 dependent on qualifications and experience.

Benefits they will offer are; free parking, work place pension after 3 months of employment and then goes up to a higher rate once they have worked there for 3 years and 6 weeks comprehensive induction, 6 months on the job and continuous training throughout the role.
