My client is looking to welcome a Transport Manager to join his team in to head up the department in looking after a fleet of 45 vehicles.

This is a very hands on role you will be working within the Transport department and completing spot audit on Vehicle records and employee wtd. Managing the Training Process and working with the Branch Trainer. Manage Driver Compliance, co-ordinate Vehicle maintenance and MOT for a fleet of vehicles. The Transport Manager will monitor and report vehicle revenue and running costs and take appropriate action to improve efficiency when necessary. The hours of this job role are split into an early shift 5:30am - 6pm Late Shift 12pm-8.

As the Transport Manager you should be self motivated and self managing, able to prioritise tasks effectively, meet deadlines and expectations with excellent attention to detail. They want you to make this role your own and to share your own ideas to help develop the company
