Brook Street (UK) Limited is currently working on behalf of our County Antrim client for an experienced Transport Planner to join their expanding company and manage the fleet of vehicles.

The environment with this client can be fast moving, hectic, demanding, and pressurised and you would be responsible for thinking on your feet, making the right on the-spot decisions and being committed to achieving results.

You should have the ability to operate effectively at all levels and to think on your feet.

The candidate for this role should have experience in transport planning and have a CPC qualification

Duties

Supporting the Operations Manager in managing a team of operatives & drivers
Maintain/improve operational efficiency, & service levels, ensuring operational compliance.
Ensure team are motivated & have the skills/capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
Ensures that safe & secure working practices adhered to.
Ensuring consistent delivery of a professional and high-quality customer contact experience across all channels including telephone, email and other communications
Providing leadership, development and coaching of your team - actively engaging and supporting the development of the team to ensure better performance and succession planning
Building and maintaining effective internal and external relationships
Ensuring service SLAs and KPIs are reported, continually reviewed and expectations are met with optimum levels of quality & service delivery
Dealing with and resolving escalated enquiries, and complaints
Familiar with vehicle and driving license legislation's and have the CPC qualification

Salary will be between £25-28k per annum
