Job Description

Do you have a passion for travel and an interest in Chinese culture? Do you have past experience in the travel industry?

If so, this could be the perfect role for you. Working at the client`s main UK office just outside of the Liverpool city centre, you will be working directly under the Operations Manager and Team Leader when working and organising educational student exchange programs.

Benefits for this role include:

Flexible working hours over Mon-Fri - 0900-1700.

A competitive basic salary between £16,000-£18,500 which is dependent on experience.

On site car parking spaces or local public transport links.

International travel to and from China as part of the position.

Day to day duties in this role include:

Creating both UK and China based travel itineraries that would be sold as part of their Educational Student Exchange programs.

Working with suppliers to both design and organise program itineraries.

Booking all the arrangements, finding and setting up tour guides, communicating with travel agents alongside discussing with higher management and stakeholders to complete the setting up and running of the student exchanges and related program schemes.

Dealing with payments to secure deposits and overall balances of the programs.

Researching and sourcing ideal suppliers.

Creating travel proposals for product delivery.

Creating budgets for upcoming projects and products.

Processing all client visas throughout each application process.

Travelling to China to oversee trips and also accompany groups as needed.

To successfully apply for this role, you must have the following skills and competencies:

To be highly functional with IT, mobiles and social media platforms.

Have past experience or be confident enough to deliver presentations.

To achieve and overachieve KPI`s and work focused targets.

To be able to work effectively within an international team environment.

Have a valid working visa or to have permission to work in the UK.

It would also be desirable that any applying candidate would have some form of travel experience or potentially worked in a similar role.
