Job Description

Do you have a strong travel background, ideally as a travel agent or a tour operator? Would you like to arrange and facilitate student exchange visits between the UK and China?

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Working at the client`s main site, based just outside of the Liverpool city centre, you will be working for the market leader in arranging and facilitating educational student exchange visits between the UK and China alongside creating UK and China based travel itineraries to be sold as part of their Student Exchange Programmes.

Your day to day duties of this role include:

Booking in initial student exchange reservations.

Securing all payments and low level deposits.

Creating travel based itineraries suitable to customer and program requirements.

Researching and sourcing ideal suppliers and companies.

Accurately recording all relevant data.

Creating proposals for product delivery.

Creating budgets for upcoming products and projects.

Efficiently processing client visas through all of the application processes.

Your main duty will be to work directly under the Travel Operations Manager and to work with all suppliers to organise and all design student exchange itineraries.

You will book all the arrangements, find and set up tour guides, communicate with all travel agents and all stakeholders required to ensure there`s success in setting up and a running of international student exchanges.

To apply for this role, it is preferred that you have the following experience or skills:

Global Distribution Services (GDS) experience

Worked in a successful travel agency or travel operator role previously.

Created, booked and delivered travel itineraries internationally previously.

You MUST be fluent in English and it would be to an advantageous that you have spoke Mandarin previously.
