Treasury Accountant

We are currently hiring for a leading public sector organisation based in North West London, looking for a full-time permanent Treasury Accountant starting immediately. The purpose of this role is to lead the team through organisational and process-related change, advising the Finance Director, Chief Officer Group and the relevant Authorities on projects and decisions with regards to impact on cashflow. You will also be responsible for a level of coaching and support for junior finance team members.

Salary: Up to £52,175

Responsibilities:
- Coaching and support for junior finance team members
- Bank reconciliation
- Build strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
- Support the Financial Accounts team in the overall management and review of the finance accounts
- Supporting the development of an effective financial control environment
- Contributing to the improvement of the finance function and promoting a culture of continuous improvement

Key Requirements:
- Professional accountancy qualification ideally within a well-established accountancy firm
- High standard of financial reporting
- Knowledge of preparing cash flows and developing cash flow models
- Good knowledge of accounting and budgeting frameworks
- An understanding of central government or public sector financial reporting frameworks would be highly beneficial although not essential
