Job Description

We are looking for a Tube CAD/CAM Engineer, to be based in Staffordshire for an exciting job role with the hours of Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-site manufacturing business with an ambitious growth strategy between now and 2025.

You will be working within a team of CAD Engineers and Designers as a CAD Engineer. You'll be responsible for creating accurate Tube Laser Programs using bespoke 3D software and AutoCAD.
You will be supporting the Company production process from quotation through to production
Responsible for the production of drawing files and CAM programs for our tube laser using 3D CAD software.
You will be liaising directly with customers to ensure their requirements are met from drawing through to production.
You will be supporting the sales team with technical queries and drawing related issues
You will need to progress orders through internal MRP software from quotation to production
It is essential you know how to read and interpret technical drawings, have good working knowledge of AutoCAD and other CAD package knowledge would be advantageous
You will need knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and an Engineering HNC/HND or equivalent experience beneficial.
3D drawing experience beneficial
At least one year's experience of CAD software in manufacturing
Proven experience of reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings
Ability to work at speed without compromising accuracy & detail
