Job Description

I am recruiting for a UK Sales Manager, working from the office with the ability to hybrid operate from home in the future. This position is offering an overall package of up to £40,000 with an OTE of £46,000 alongside a mid-range company car.

THE COMPANY
My client is a world leader in assistive software for blind, partially sighted, and dyslexic people with a distribution channel in over forty countries. The software used makes a real difference to their customer base - helping individuals get online and connect with family and friends, helping students to fully engage and succeed in education and helping employees to excel in a variety of work settings. The business is looking for an experienced, innovative and ambitious Sales Manager to lead and grow the UK sales market.

You must ideally be highly competent of selling in an IT based environment, with the ability to have a in-depth understanding of technical compliance. The office is based near Worcester city centre however the option to work from home will be available after 3 months of service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

- Develop and deliver UK sales strategy

- Full responsibility of UK business. Forecasting and delivering UK sales targets.

- Strategic business development into new and existing channels.

- Leadership, recruitment, mentoring and motivation of the UK Sales team. Set realistic performance expectations and support people in achieving these.

- Working closely with overseas Account Managers and feedback to the product development team on new product opportunities.

- Working closely with the Marketing department to structure and implement new campaigns and lead generation strategies.

- Project management and leadership of the diversification into new markets.

- Business intelligence reporting

- Ensure efficient departmental processes

- Communicate and coordinate with the marketing department to ensure sales and marketing efforts are complimentary and coordinated to help generate leads

- Management of your own journey plan to support customer interactions and relationship building.

- Significant input to our commercial 90-day plans

- Active presence and input at Commercial Management monthly meetings.

- Demonstrate the company's products at seminars, conferences, and Webinars

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Experience of one or more of following would be beneficial:

- Have experience of managing Sales people and the ability to lead and inspire a developing team.

- Have experience managing enterprise sales

- Be able to demonstrate leadership and project management of diversifying into new markets or channels.

- Have a background in Software sales and in particular assistive technology software is highly desired.

- Someone with a clean sales strategy and knowledge of potential marketplaces to grow the business.

- You should demonstrate effective decision-making skills and be comfortable working under your own initiative.

- You will need to be organised and methodical in your approach to work

- Communication and team working skills are essential as you must be able to contribute to cross functional projects.

- Be keen to learn, share your ideas and support change.

- Expected to work in the spirit of our ethos of inclusivity.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

- Basic salary up to £40,000 dependent on experience

- Salary OTE of £46,000 dependent on experience

- Mid-range company car

- 37 hour working week - Monday to Friday (9.00-5.30pm)

- 23 days of annual leave every year in addition to being closed over the Christmas period

- 2 weeks fully paid sick leave, and 2 weeks at 50% pay in a year
