Are you an Underwriter that has experience working within a vibrant, fast moving sector? Would you like to work within a leading financial services provider?

Working at the client's head office in the North Liverpool area, you will be expected to have ability in underwriting and to complete case volumes in line with the business objectives and companies and funders risk appetite by progressing cases to completion.

Day to day duties in this role include:

Review information and provide reports alongside redemption strategies that ensure the compliance of the property portfolio.
Preparing offer documentation and ensuring all loan conditions are met throughout the drawdown process alongside preparing detailed credit proposals for submission to the Credit Committee.
Underwrite and loans against agreed lending criteria.
Handling broker calls on specific cases under review whilst managing customer expectations throughout the process.
Liaising with internal departments (Legal, Risk and Sales) and external parties (Surveyors, Quantity surveyors, Solicitors and Customers) to effectively manage the lending process.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal BDMs/brokers/clients, keeping them informed of case progress throughout

In order to apply for this role, you MUST have the following skills and experience:

Underwriting experience - ideally in a property lending role although this isn't essential (although underwriting experience is).
Comfortable working towards and within business data.
Have a good knowledge of both the Residential and Commercial Property Market.
Strong knowledge of all Microsoft platforms - including Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Office (Teams and PowerPoint).
